By accessing or using Lekha (“the Platform”), operated by Lekha (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
Lekha is a technology platform that enables users to create, document, and publicly share investment portfolios and related commentary. Lekha does not provide investment advice, financial planning services, securities brokerage, or trade execution services.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You retain ownership of all content you create on Lekha, including portfolio data, journal entries, thesis notes, and commentary (“User Content”).
By publishing User Content on the Platform, you grant Lekha a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and make your public content accessible to other users and visitors as part of the Platform's functionality.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. You must not publish content that constitutes investment advice unless you hold the appropriate SEBI registration, which must be displayed on your profile.
You agree not to use the Platform to:
Users who are SEBI Registered Investment Advisers (RIA) or SEBI Registered Research Analysts (RA) must accurately display their registration status on their profile. Users who are not SEBI registered must not use language that could be construed as investment advice (e.g., “buy”, “sell”, “target price”, “stop loss”). Content from unregistered users is treated as personal opinion and educational commentary only.
Certain features of the Platform may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and payment terms will be communicated at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; refunds are subject to our refund policy in effect at the time of cancellation.
Market data displayed on the Platform is sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed or inaccurate. Lekha does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data. Portfolio values shown are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for making investment decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lekha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from investment decisions made based on content published on the Platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We may, but are not obligated to, provide you an opportunity to download your User Content before account deletion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
